Tai Chi Class
Tai Chi is a slow-motion, moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self-defence. It has been used by Chinese martial artists over the years as a means of extending their life-spans. More importantly, it has been used as a method of ensuring optimum health during those lengthy life times.
Health Benefits of Tai Chi
Tai Chi is helpful and healthy for your body in many different ways, and it is also very beneficial to senior citizens by creating balance and so reducing the risk of falling. The health benefits of tai chi include:

Children Kung Fu
Kung Fu class is taught by Qualified & Experienced Instructor – Lisa Grant.
Kungfu (or Gong fu) the original meaning is somewhat different, referring to one's expertise in any skill achieved through hard work and practice, not necessarily martial. But nowadays, it is often used in the west to refer to Chinese martial arts. Chin Woo – the Northern style of Shaolin Kungfu is what the children will learn in the class.
Tam Tui or "spring leg" is Chin Woo's basic form, it concentrates on leg work with complimentary fist techniques. The technique consists of various kicks, like the inch kick, sidekick, front thrust kick and shin kick among others. Tam Tui also includes techniques where the student is required to crouch low and twist the waist while blocking down, so it serves as a good flexibility exercise for the legs and waist. Through the practice of the applications, the student will learn to anticipate an attack, along with self-control and timing and how to control an opponent, also providing the body with a good cardiovascular workout.
In Tam Tui, the harmonious co-ordination between the hands, eyes, body, steps and breathing is a very good routine that improving concentration, strengthening muscles, increasing flexibility and establishing good posture for Children.

Chinese Calligraphy Class
With a history of four thousand years, the art of Chinese calligraphy is rich and profound in content and has attracted the attention of artists the world over.
Chinese Calligraphy is very much like painting and is an important part of Chinese culture. It is not only a practical technique for writing Chinese characters, but also a unique Oriental art of expression. The class includes the basic writing skills, development and rules of technique.
